2h agoA recent study found that New York intersections are among the nation's deadliest for pedestrians.
The study by GSHA shows New York has seen 13% more pedestrian fatalities compared to the national average.
New York also leads the U.S. in elderly pedestrian deaths, with more than 200 between 2014 and 2016.
Nationwide, pedestrian fatalities have hit a 25-year high driven by urbanization, distracted driving and possibly marijuana use.
