Stratford held its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration Tuesday morning. Festivities included performances from the Brennan Lucey Irish Dance Academy, the town's customary Irish soda bread competition and the raising of the Irish flag.

Mayor Chess also named this year's Irish Mayors for a Day: Ron Nelson, a Stratford resident and president of the Stratford Old Timers Athletic Association.
