A young Stratford boxer won his second professional bout at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket on Saturday night.
Joseph "Jelite" Chisholm, 18, won by a knockout in less than 2 minutes.
He made his professional debut back in June at Mohegan Sun, which he won by a knockout in less than a minute.
News 12 caught up with Chisholm and his trainer before the fight and they both predicted a win.
"It's always exciting knowing that I can go ahead and broadcast my skills in front of everybody at a higher level. I've done a whole bunch of national tournaments, local tournaments,” he said.
He added he's grateful for the guidance he gets at the Chick Rosnick Boxing Club. The Stratford-based nonprofit mentors young athletes with the motto "gloves up, weapons down."
