Did you see any strange lights in the sky over Morris County?

Videos posted online showed what appeared to be as many as three swirling objects on fire in the skies above Parsippany.

Some people who called the News 12 New Jersey newsroom thought they may be drones or even UFOs.

Unfortunately, the answer isn’t anything that fantastical.

News 12’s Dave Curren says the lights were actually parachutists who were skydiving ahead of the Mountain Lakes/Boonton high school football game. The trio had pyrotechnics on their legs, creating the swirling flames.
