There is a FLOOD WARNING for the North Branch of the Metedeconk River in Lakewood for rising levels due to rainfall runoff.
FORECAST:
Showers linger this morning before departing by 11 a.m. The sun begins to emerge from the west/northwest and increases across the area. Today will be a much better day. Some places saw close to near 3.5 inches of rainfall.
Highs for the foreseeable future will be in the upper-80s/low-90s. There will be plenty of sun to enjoy as well for the rest of this week.
Tomorrow's weather will deteriorate in northern New Jersey around 5-7 p.m. with a round of quick passing thunderstorms. It isn't expected to be major, but some strong gusts, lightning and downpours are expected in northern areas. This will be it for the week.
The holiday weekend looks spectacular with lots of sunshine and warm weather with highs near 90.
