The storm is slowly unraveling, but its close proximity to the Jersey Shore and the very tight pressure gradient over the tri-state and New England will cause wind-driven rain to loiter into the overnight hours.
Despite the worst of the tidal flooding behind us, the next two high tide cycles will feature moderate to minor flooding. Slowly, very slowly, the weather will begin to improve.
