WHAT TO KNOW:
  • Fog this morning, then peeks of sun this afternoon
  • Hot & humid and dry for many of us today
  • An isolated storm late morning through early evening could bring lightning or strong wind
  • Dry Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
  • Chilly with rain Wednesday, Thursday Friday
It's a foggy start to our Saturday morning. A stray shower is possible early, with an isolated thunderstorm possible late morning into the early evening. For most of us, it's a dry day but keep an eye on the radar because if a storm develops, it will bring lightning and the potential for gusty wind. Afterward, a dry and pleasant Sunday is in the forecast and dry weather will persist through Tuesday.
We are tracking another storm system Wednesday and Thursday that will bring unseasonably chilly temperatures and on and off showers with clouds. Gloomy weather could last into Friday, but pleasant weather is expected for Memorial Day Weekend.
TODAY: Watch for a storm
An isolated thunderstorm is possible late this morning into the early evening, but otherwise expect a mix of sun and clouds in the afternoon with high temperatures approaching 80. Overnight, will be partly cloudy with lows near 60 for Sunday morning.
SUNDAY: Sun & clouds, but likely dry
It's a less gloomy start to the day with a light breeze and lower humidity making fog less widespread. A mix of sun and clouds are expected throughout the day. More clouds than sun is expected though rain is not likely. Temperatures will be in the low 70s.
MONDAY & TUESDAY: Cool & dry
A nice stretch of weather kicks off the work week. Temperatures will be near 70 with more sun than clouds. Morning lows will drop into the upper 40s or low 50s.
THE NEXT STORM: Cool & gloomy finish to the week.
Widespread showers arrives Wednesday & Thursday and could linger into Friday. Skies will be overcast with temperatures steady in the 50s, which is well below the average for this time of the year.
