FORECAST:
Today's weather is much colder than yesterday, with highs only near 47 degrees. A northeasterly wind begins to move more marine air into the state as clouds build in the upper atmosphere from the west. A few sprinkles arrive tonight near 8 p.m. and fog settles in at the coast overnight, reducing visibility east of the Parkway through Thursday.
Thursday's temperatures surge to near 71 degrees under a mostly cloudy sky with a few breaks of sun. There will be a few sprinkles lingering tomorrow morning with the abundant clouds and fog. Fog and an overcast remain at the coast all day, whereas areas north and west may see some breaks of sun. The midday breaks of sun feel good, but then passing thundershowers arrive after sunset, closer to 9-10 p.m. They are not expected to be severe. However, they are expected to last.
Thundershowers continue to pass through overnight into Friday morning. Friday starts damp, but then a break from the rain is expected for the mid-afternoon. Breaks of sun allow temperatures to rebound into the mid-60s.
The mostly cloudy sky turns to an overcast again with more periods of light on-and-off rain roll through for Saturday.
