Spring is in the air this week in Connecticut

- Sunday will be a mild, wet and windy day. On/off rain arrives Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. A line of thunderstorms will bring downpours and high winds to our area Sunday night around 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Lingering showers continue through 9 a.m. There's a risk of localized flooding and downed tree limbs. Messy travel is expected. Stay tuned for updates!
- It's mostly cloudy and cold with temperatures in the 30s & 40s this morning.
- Today will be brighter with more sunshine. Highs will be in the mid 50s.
- Temperatures will climb back to the 60s this weekend with some much-needed rain arriving Sunday evening into Monday morning.
- Saturday will be cloudy with a patchy drizzle and cool temperatures. Highs will be mid-50s.
- St. Patrick's Day will be drier for the second half of the day, mild and windy.
- It gets milder next week with highs in the 60s.
