March has already been a roller coaster for temperatures.
But the weather story right now is the rain that way will make its way through western Connecticut Wednesday late afternoon/early evening. As the timing stands now, a thin line of gusty storms is expected around to 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. There may not be thunder or lightning, but they will likely race through the area from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. The winds will start to gust early out of the southwest and south, but the worst will hit when those storms come through. Rainfall amounts look anywhere from ¾ to an inch. This will help the drought that is still in place locally.
Up until Wednesday, the weather will be quiet. Your Tuesday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy, breezy and milder. High temperatures will make it into the upper 40s with some towns seeing 50!
