Coastal Storm brings gusty rain and a flood watch. 1-2 ft higher than usual tides are expected Sunday and Monday.

It will be a nuisance rain and washout outdoor plans. There is potential damage if the storm grows large.

According to The National Weather Service, a Coastal Flood Watch has been issued for Fairfield County.

Coastal flooding is expected in vulnerable spots during high tide.

The tide will be 1-2 ft higher as waves could approach 4 ft on the sound.
