        Rainy Monday kicks off wet week in Connecticut

        Light to moderate showers on Monday have the chance to bring a quarter or half inch of rain. Tuesday has some sprinkle chances. Wednesday has potential for a strong storm with damaging wind and flooding.

        OVERNIGHT: Some clouds, calmer winds (finally). Low around 35.
        MONDAY: High of 49, low of 40. Rain showers. Cloudy. Move in midday and continue throughout the evening commute. Rain tapers overnight and there could be patchy fog.
        TUESDAY: High of 53, low of 46. Sprinkle chances throughout the day. Mostly dry until late rain moves in.
        WEDNESDAY: High of 57, low of 34. STORM WATCH for all day storm with moderate to heavy rain, gusts up around 40-50 mph, flood concerns, power outage potential.
        THURSDAY: High of 38, low of 23. Early am could have lingering storm impacts with wintery mix. Clears out and the rest of the day is drier but colder.
