FORECAST:
Stormy weather rolls in on Thursday night into Friday morning with strong gusts, downpours, and area flooding. Rainfall totals near 1-1.5" are likely and combined with the snowmelt causes travel problems due to localized flooding. The wind will be nasty - gusts near 30-40 mph and up to nearly 45 mph at the coast, especially during the downpours.
Friday morning's temperatures will be unusually mild, too with sunrise temperatures near 60 degrees. A thunderstorm squall passes between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
The weather lulls through the late morning, ending by noon/1 p.m. Temperatures are mild into the early afternoon before the cold air catches up, and it crashes after 3 p.m., with temperatures dropping fast to the freezing mark in two hours.
Between now and then, mild afternoons replace cold mornings with midday temps near 50 degrees.
The weekend should be fine with a cold and breezy Saturday and a fair Sunday.
