The State Elections Enforcement Commission is investigating the razor-close finish in Connecticut’s 29th District state Senate race.
Incumbent Democrat Mae Flexer beat Republican Chris Reddy by just 589 votes.
Reddy filed a complaint with the state noting that more than 2,500 people registered to vote on election day.
Most of those same-day registrations were from UConn students, and now the state is looking into whether all those students were eligible to vote in that district.
