State police said Tuesday that it is investigating the death of a 10-year-old girl in the Hudson Valley.

The girl, identified by state police as Kathleen Pulido, suffered a medical emergency in the Village of Ellenville on Aug. 18. It was not immediately clear when she was pronounced dead. She was a resident of both Ulster and Orange counties.

State police did not expand on the details of their investigation and said no further information would be released.

They asked anyone with “relevant information” regarding the death of Pulido to call New York State Police at Middletown at 845-344-5300.
