State police: 35-mile pursuit ends in West Babylon crash; 3 people injured

Troopers say they attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle heading southbound on the Meadowbrook Parkway around 1 a.m.

A police chase ended with a crash early Saturday morning in West Babylon, according to state police.
Troopers say they attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle heading southbound on the Meadowbrook Parkway around 1 a.m.
After a 35-mile pursuit, the car collided with an uninvolved vehicle and rolled over near State Route 109 and Straight Path.
Authorities say the driver, 42-year-old Raphael Chuan, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two other people also sustained minor injuries.
Chuan has yet to be charged as the investigation unfolds.
