A Stamford man was hospitalized with serious and possibly life-threatening injuries following a crash Thursday, police say.
It happened near Greenwich Avenue at South State Street around 8:40 p.m.
Police say the man was on a motorcycle traveling north on Greenwich Avenue. At the intersection, he crashed into a Mercedes that was driven by 37-year-old woman.
The man was thrown from the motorcycle and taken to Stamford Hospital.
The driver of the Mercedes was not injured.
The intersection was closed for three hours while police investigated.
