The Stamford Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire around 9:30 p.m. Friday night along 470 Glenbrook Road.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire upon arrival.

Seven residents were displaced, with one being sent to a local hospital due to symptoms of smoke inhalation.

The American Red Cross helped the displaced residents after the fire.

Stamford Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
