A joint law enforcement operation in Spring Valley resulted in authorities identifying alleged violations at five restaurants and bars, according to police and the New York State Liquor Authority.
Spring Valley police said they found people younger than 21 in possession of alcoholic drinks at Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar on Route 59 on Aug. 21.
Authorities said they also discovered additional alleged violations at the establishment, which was shut down for the night.
The inspection was part of a joint enforcement operation conducted by the Spring Valley Police Department and the New York State Liquor Authority.
Authorities said alleged violations were identified at a total of five establishments, all located in the Village of Spring Valley:
  • El Rey Del Pollo, 80 East Route 59
  • Papusa Magica Restaurant & Bar, 96 East Route 59
  • El Rodeo Steakhouse, 180 East Route 59
  • El Pollo Grande Restaurant, 39 South Main Street
  • Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar, 180 East Route 59
At this point, no arrests have been made.
The State Liquor Authority said all five establishments still have their liquor licenses.
The enforcement action comes after News 12 previously reported that the Hudson West Sports Bar in Pearl River had its liquor license suspended earlier this month after being accused of serving minors.
Documents showed years of alleged violations at that establishment.
News 12 has filed a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request to obtain additional details about the alleged violations authorities say were found at each establishment in Spring Valley.
News 12 attempted to reach all of the restaurants named by authorities for comment.
