People are having fun in the Long Island Sound in the winter time.

SoundWaters hosts a Super Splash -- a cold plunge in the Long Island Sound to raise money.

120 people jumped into the East Beach Cove Island Park in Stamford at 30 degrees

Organizers say the money raised helps SoundWaters teach school students all around Southern Connecticut about the Long Island Sound and the changes taking place in the waters due to the changing climate.

SoundWaters is gearing up for Super Splash 2027 with plans to be on Super Bowl Sunday. Now that's a date you can never forget.
