Dry quiet weather is on tap for the region for the next few days. It will remain cold but above freezing during the daytime hours so it will feel a lot better than this past weekend. Once the holiday week ends, temperatures will trend milder as the return of the 40s leads to the 50s by the end of the year.
Behind this warm-up, you can trade in the winter gear for fall gear once more, along with umbrellas. Rain is expected Sunday late afternoon overnight into Monday. There is another chance for some rain showers as we ring in the new year, we will be monitoring this closely over the next few days.
