WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Temperatures will feel more bearable today than Monday with a lighter wind coming around.

Temps will still be below average today, but with less wind around, the Feels Like temps will only be a few degrees below the actual air temps.

Winds will pick up Wednesday, as a weak system passes by way to the north. We'll see our temperatures near seasonal levels (average high is 42 degrees).

Thursday sees another system approach the Northeast but will impact the Hudson Valley. Expect increasing clouds Thursday with temps on the rise. Rain showers arrive after 8-9 PM.

Friday morning will be warm, dreary, and breezy with rain moving through. Temps will be near record levels, as the forecast high is 52 (which will occur before sunrise) and the record is 55 (set in 1966).

Showers may change over briefly to a wintry mix midday as temps start dropping. Friday afternoon/evening will be much colder than how the day starts.

Saturday is a dry day but feeling colder as highs struggle to get near seasonal levels.
