A single‑family home was damaged by fire early this morning in Brewster.

Firefighters responded around 6:50 a.m. to a home at 2297 Route 6.

Fire officials said flames were burning inside the walls and smoke filled parts of the home.

The Putnam County fire investigation team was dispatched to evaluate the scene, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
