I wish these snow shower chances were a late April Fool's joke, but as we saw in spots yesterday, it is not!
Much of today is cloudy with spotty light rain and drizzle. Highs will be in the 40s. Heavier rain moves in after around 6 p.m. tonight. After midnight, rain will mix with wet snow as temperatures begin to drop into the 30s. Most areas will stay wet even though you may see wet snow mixing in at times. Temperatures will stay a bit above freezing. The best chance to get a light accumulation, mostly on colder surfaces, is western Ulster County.
Tomorrow afternoon will be cloudy and chilly with a spotty shower. Sunday looks better, but mostly cloudy with highs back in the 50s. Much of next week will be fine and warmer with highs in the 50s and 60s other than some showers Tuesday and Friday.
Have a great weekend and stay dry!
