A drier Wednesday ahead of more rain and storms to finish out the work and school week. Today, some early showers give way to a partly sunny day. Wind is mellow today, tonight and tomorrow.

Rain and storm chances return for the second half of Thursday, with an isolated thunderstorm and scattered showers possible. Northwestern NJ has medium flash flood concerns for Thursday with a low flash flood risk for the rest of the Garden State.

Rain returns Friday where we have all-day, repeated rounds of rain. Moderate to heavy rain at times which will likely lead to additional isolated flash flood concerns.

Temperatures are doing some flip flopping! Today and tomorrow the middle to higher 70s, Friday and Saturday the 60s are back. By Sunday (Mother's Day) we are back and comfortably into the 70s and stay there into next week.
