A busy Jersey Shore bridge that has been closed for months is set to reopen.
The Route 71 drawbridge over the Shark River will reopen by 2 p.m. Friday. The bridge connects Belmar to Avon-by-the-Sea.
Workers have completed the permanent repairs.
The bridge has been closed since October.
