Several additional workers hospitalized, receive Narcan at Fishkill Correctional Facility

On Monday night, nine staff members were rushed to the hospital after five inmates appeared to be intoxicated.

Emergency crews rushed to Fishkill Correctional Facility Tuesday for the third time in 24 hours.
Sources say ambulances arrived for an inmate who was intoxicated from an unknown substance and two inmates that needed CPR.
It comes after the Department of Corrections said ambulances were called Tuesday morning for an inmate who appeared to be intoxicated. That call resulted in two corrections officers and a nurse needing Narcan and multiple staff members being taken to the hospital.
On Monday night, nine staff members were rushed to the hospital after five inmates appeared to be intoxicated. A News 12 source says the officers and staff may have been exposed to fentanyl in that instance.
