A very large upper level and surface low pressure area is situated over the Great Lakes and drifting into eastern Canada.
New Jersey is sandwiched in between that and an offshore cold front. Fair weather is wrapping in, and we benefit from sunshine and seasonable October temperatures, with a low of 60 degrees.
The weather pattern for the rest of the week into the weekend is exactly like what we experienced today. Sunny with an autumn chill.
We could really use some rain, and it isn't in the forecast this week.
Forecasting fingers crossed that what we are seeing with computer guidance pans out for next week. A decent shot of bountiful rain falls on the area just before Halloween.
