Police have released the sketch of the missing 11-year old boy they have identified as Jacob Pritchard side by side with a picture of his mother. The search is now in its 4th day in Brownsville. Police made their way back to Howard Avenue to find new clues in their investigation, but they found no sign of where the boy might be. Sources tell us blood was found in the fridge in the apartment where the 11-year-old lived with his mom. And it was only the end of September when ACS case was opened against her even after officers were spotted searching through the dumpsters behind the building. Police say Jacob, who is autistic, still hasn't been found. At this hour. That apartment is still sealed off with a notice typically used when someone has been found dead. It makes me emotional. It makes me wanna cry cause it's like it's so close to home, but I just hope they find her. For the past few days we've been hearing some concerns about the mental state of Jacob's mom. Sources tell us she is currently being evaluated at a local hospital after being taken away by police.

We begin tonight with the latest in the search for an 11-year-old boy in Brownsville, which has entered its second day. Good to be with you here on News 12 Brooklyn. I'm Amanda Bossard. Neighbors tell us they can't remember the last time they saw that child, and they are fearing for his life. News Twelve's Morgan Scott is on Howard Avenue, where so many questions are still left unanswered. A call to police from Children's services led officers here at 614 Howard Avenue for a wellness check on an 11-year-old boy. But when multiple officers could not locate the child in his home, concern grew quickly. It's disturbing that people don't take care of their kids. Harm them if that's the case. Sources tell us that the mom of the 11 year old was taken away from here by police and later transferred to a hospital where she's being treated as an emotionally disturbed person. We're also told that an ACS case was opened against her just last week. I don't think she had the resources to survive with that baby. Those familiar with the mom and her son say they believe the young boy was autistic, and the mom was often heard yelling at him inside their apartment. Several neighbors say they haven't seen the child in weeks. Some say months. Others admit they seen him at all. She always made it her business to not communicate. You know, I just feel bad that I kicked the door down. Call myself because clearly somebody made a call. Police have not released any photos of the missing boy, and sources close to the matter say officers are waiting on a warrant to thoroughly search through the apartment for any clues on where he might be in Brownsville, Morgan Scott, News 12, Brooklyn.

Yeah, Mana, at this point, both the neighbors who live in the same building as 11-year-old Jacob and his mom and others nearby say they fear for the worst, especially as time continues to go by and new details about Jacob's home life appear to be suspicious. We're told the boy was also not enrolled in school. Neighbors say. They have not seen him outside in weeks, but they did hear yelling coming from their window frequently until there was silence. Things clearly could be wrong in front of you. If anything, maybe that should be the takeaway for everybody. If you see something, say something. Now for the past few days we've been hearing concerns about the mental state of Jacob's mom.
