At the federal courthouse in Brooklyn, lawyers for Sean "Diddy" Combs have asked that he serve his four-year sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
The low-security facility offers drug treatment programs and easier access for family visitation, according to the letter submitted to the court.
Combs, 55, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being convicted earlier this year.
His legal team says Fort Dix would allow him to address drug abuse issues and participate in rehabilitation efforts.
