Round Hill Road in Greenwich has reopened after an overturned seal coating truck crashed Monday morning, according to police.
The fire department says no injuries were reported.
State DEEP and CTDOT were called to the scene for an environmental cleanup.
“It's a driveway sealant like you would use to take in topcoat on a driveway. It's a latex-base material, so it poses minimal environmental concern,” said Deputy Chief Nate Schulde, with the Greenwich Fire Department. “Our environmental contractors are here, they'll address anything."
Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews cleaned up the scene.
There is no word yet on what caused the crash.
