Bill Middleton tells a great story when he recounts what transpired in his street taco shop a few summers ago.

The owner of Taquerio in Mystic said one of Santa’s elves was vacationing in the village and thought the place held a special magic. Now, for a second year, Santa’s elves are taking over the restaurant — located in a revamped vintage gas station — and turning it into a whimsical wonderland for all to visit. The rest is history.
