There was a big send-off at Rutgers University on Monday because four Scarlet Knight divers are heading to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships for the first time in school history.
The competition will be held in Washington state.
Senior Holly Prasanto, junior Sephora Ford and freshmen Katerina Hoffman and Bailee Sturgill will be competing for the national title.
“Every day we have to put in the work…We all support each other and it’s just great to see how far we've come together,” says Ford.
“I'm very proud of these young ladies,” says diving coach Natasha Chikina.
Hoffman is the top seed in the 3 meter event going into the championship.
The event takes place March 19-22.
