        Rockland County community mourns teen killed in tragic car crash

        Wake services for Sabrina Villagomez-Gonzalez were held at the Sniffen-Sagala Funeral Home in Spring Valley.

        The community in Rockland County bid farewell Thursday to a 15-year-old who was killed in a car crash over the weekend.
        Sabrina Villagomez-Gonzalez, from Nanuet, died in a car accident early Sunday morning in the Bronx. According to police reports, the 23-year-old driver of the car failed to navigate the roadway properly, resulting in a collision with a parked oil tanker truck.

        Sabrina's best friend, 17-year-old Aaliyah Torres, was also in the car and remains hospitalized.
        Family, friends and staff from Ramapo High School, where Sabrina was a student, gathered at her family's home earlier this week to grieve together.
        Wake services for Villagomez-Gonzalez were held at the Sniffen-Sagala Funeral Home in Spring Valley. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church.
