Riverfield Elementary School in Fairfield marked its 100th Day of School with its 2nd Annual Cereal Box Domino Run.
Over 600 cereal boxes were collected by students and staff, which were then set up in the school hallways for a domino-like chain reaction.
Principal Mary Rose Dymond expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, "Last year was our first year, and everyone being here together, just seeing in the same spot to see what they've accomplished together is an amazing thing. So, it is really exciting for everybody."
After the event, each cereal box, along with shelf-stable milk, will be donated to "Nourish Bridgeport."
