NJ Transit riders have a chance this week to voice what they want changed across the system.
The agency is holding the first of three virtual public forums tonight.
The sessions follow an executive order issued last week by Gov. Mikie Sherrill. The order gives NJ Transit 45 days to produce an action plan addressing four priorities:
• cleanliness
• accessibility
• public safety
• the agency’s app and website
NJ Transit leaders will be required to report back to the governor on how the ideas gathered during the forums will be implemented.
Tonight’s forum is online from 6 to 8 p.m. Two more sessions will be held later this week.
