"The Mark," located at 156 Bedford Road, officially opened on Wednesday.
It features 13 apartments, a recreation center, an indoor gym and more.
Community leaders and elected officials gathered at the housing complex Wednesday afternoon to open its doors to prospective renters.
The building features a total of 13 rental apartments, three of which are affordable housing units.
Managing member Mark Fonte told News 12 he's excited to finally open the doors after 10 months of preparation.
"I think it's going to be a great product for the community. It's much needed. There's not a lot of new housing in this area...very difficult to develop in these areas, but I think now that they see this product, they will embrace it," said Fonte.
County Executive Ken Jenkins also appeared at the event, as well as County Legislator Erika Pierce, Supervisor Ellen Calves and others in the community.
