Firefighters are battling flames at a bagel shop in Franklin Square.
Pictures from the scene appear to show heavy smoke pouring from the front of 529 Bagels at 529 Franklin Square Ave.
Nassau police are advising motorists that Franklin Avenue is closed in both directions between Second Avenue and Third Avenue.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started or when it would be extinguished.
