Residents in Williamsburg say a person is continuing to throw bleach and eggs on people from a second-story window above Kent Avenue.
Residents say the building management has only sent out an e-mail telling people not to throw things out of their windows. The NYPD said without any direct proof of which unit it came from, there is nothing it can really do.
New York City Councilmember Lincoln Restler says his office has gotten at least 10 e-mails about what is happening, so now, he is getting involved.
He tells News 12 that he is talking with the NYPD and management to force the person's eviction.
"We know who this person is, we know what they've been doing, we know it's been a recurring pattern," Restler said. "We need to find a way to stop it and stop it now, so we're escalating pressure, we're not just going to just sit by and let this continue to happen."
Restler said he will also make sure that the person does get some sort of mental assistance.
