Santa hats, red suits and ugly sweaters filled the streets of Hoboken on Saturday as SantaCon returned to the city.

The annual event since 2011 has become a seasonal fixture with participants moving between participating bars and restaurants.

Some attendees said SantaCon has become a recurring tradition for them to see old friends and make new ones.

“It’s just a mingling environment,” said Anastasia Miniotis. “I just want to meet people, make new friends so that’s what I’m here to do again.”
