Periods of rain will arrive after 5 p.m. this evening and continue for the following few days.
Today will be a warm and fair day until the rain arrives after 5 p.m. The thunderstorms are not expected to be damaging but can have gusts of up to 30 mph. The rain will be scattered and mostly concentrated to northern New Jersey.
Rain showers linger overnight into Wednesday. Wednesday will be a showery day, but a lot of the rain will be light and on/off. There will be some dry periods where it will just remain cloudy.
The heavier rain arrives overnight into Thursday, where overnight downpours can cause road ponding and potential flooding. Thursday is a rainy day where light to moderate rain is expected all day long. Some periods of rain can be heavy. Temperatures will also be mild, in the upper 70s, with some locations reaching 80 degrees for the high temperatures.
The warm rain wraps up on Friday morning, gradually. Friday will end up wonderful for the afternoon and evening.
Saturday and Sunday will be great with lots of sunshine and fair conditions. Temperatures will be in the lower 70s.
