A burglary on Eagle Avenue in Medford Tuesday afternoon played out like something from a movie.

Police say a 12-year-old boy was inside his home when someone broke into the kitchen.

The child climbed out his bedroom window, hid in the backyard, and called 911.

Officers arrived within minutes and found the suspect, Christian Garcia, still inside the house. Police say the boy was not hurt, and Garcia was taken into custody.
