Primary election season has now come and gone – there is now clarity in several key races as we look to the general election in the fall.
In NY-1, John Avlon won by double digits, defeating Nancy Goroff. Meanwhile, Rep. Nick LaLota immediately hit the airwaves with a new political ad.
Democrats have not won NY-1 in more than 10 years, but it is considered by most to be a "purple" district, with Republicans having just a small edge in voter enrollment.
