Holiday shipping deadlines are approaching for anyone sending Christmas gifts.

The U.S. Postal Service said packages should be mailed by next Wednesday to arrive before the holiday.

Priority Mail gives customers until Thursday, and Priority Mail Express extends the deadline to Saturday.

Officials noted these dates are estimates and recommend sending gifts early.
