The American Red Cross held a blood drive at Porter and Chester Institute’s Bridgeport campus.

The drive was a great success with not only Porter and Chester students but local community members signing up.

The Red Cross says these appointments typically last an hour.

There is a large need for blood across the country, and the institute is always looking to help.
