A small fire has closed Tony Boloney's in Hoboken.
Firefighters responded to reports of heavy smoke at 6:45 p.m. Thursday. The restaurant and residents of units above were evacuated.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
More than 30 firefighters responded and a fire in the walls was located and quickly extinguished.
"We need to get contractors in here and figure out that situation and fast-track it and make sure we're good with the city, fire, building and all those things so everyone is safe and then we'll be back open," said Tony Boloney's founder Mike Hauke.
The exact cause is being investigated.
