Police in Gloucester County say a man and woman were found dead inside a home following an explosion early Sunday morning.
Washington Township police say officers were called to a house explosion and fire at 13 Tranquility Court just after 2 a.m. Sunday. Officials also say a woman was found in a bedroom with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Washington Township police say the home’s natural gas line was tampered with, and it appears that a fire was intentionally set, causing the explosion.
