Police: Traffic stop leads to drug arrest of 2 New Haven women

The substances seized tested positive for ecstasy and cocaine.

A traffic stop by Milford police led to the arrests of two New Haven women.
Police said a search of the car turned up narcotics and items used for sale.
Police identified the suspects as Jasiman Gray, 33, and Artaya Taylor, 30, of New Haven.
In the car, police found about 100 pills, two scales, a white rock substance and baggies.
The substances seized tested positive for ecstasy and cocaine.
During the investigation police also found that the vehicle was uninsured and unregistered. The vehicle had plates that did not belong to the vehicle.
Both females were released with a court date, according to police.
