Police say an armed duo is behind a car heist on July 26 outside of a hotel on Sheridan Boulevard in Crotona Park East. Investigators say the robbery happened after an unidentified man and woman entered the car of a 49-year-old man at around 3:40 a.m. in front of 1440 Sheridan Blvd. They say the man pulled out a gun and forced the victim out of the car while the woman drove the stolen vehicle away. Police say the victim was not injured, and the car was later recovered. Anyone with information that could help police in their investigation, are asked to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
