        Police: Sacred Heart University employee arrested for child solicitation

        The arrest was made by Bloomfield police, who worked in conjunction with the Connecticut Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, following an investigation into online enticement of children.

        Matthew Janik, an associate director of Athletic Communications at Sacred Heart University, has been arrested and charged with child solicitation and other crimes.
        The arrest was made by Bloomfield police, who worked in conjunction with the Connecticut Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, following an investigation into online enticement of children.
        Janik has been suspended by the university pending an investigation.
